Default Osprey With Fish For Breakfast...

    Attached Images Attached Images

A couple weeks ago Dot and I were at Blackpoint Wildlife Drive in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. At one of the ponds there were twenty to thirty Ospreys circling and diving for fish. They were too far out in the pond to photograph catching the fish but a couple flew close by with a fish for breakfast. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Joe:

Nice angle of the bird in frame, good clouds, like the angle of the fish. I would try a slightly tighter crop, if the IQ will hold up.

I would try a version with a bit more contrast on the bird.

    Cheers

Joe, a classic Osprey in flight with breakfast.

Nice sharpness across the subject including the whole fish (looks like maybe a trout?). Blue sky is what it is but clouds help a little from an interests sake.

Would be great to come in a little tighter as Randy mentioned.

I love the clouded sky and the position of small bird in frame. Great pose (for both), prey and SH. Yes, to a small tweak in contrast on subjects. TFS

I like the clouds so I won’t crop the image.

20-30 Ospreys? I went out today to my local Osprey location, and unusually for me never saw one...lol. This is a nice pose Joseph, but I do prefer the Osprey head angle more towards you. TFS

Hi Joe, good flight pose, and we have a good view of his breakfast. The clouds do add interest to the sky. Another vote for a tighter crop if possible.

Great view of the fish. Works well with the bird smaller in the frame. The faint clouds are nice.
