Love the purposeful stare and walking pose. Sharp right where it needs to be. Wish for more room on bottom. TFS

I like this! The image has impact. The sharp foot and claw looks great, the head is acceptably sharp DOF is of course limited at this magnification in the frame but I think it is OK. I have to agree with David just a little more at the base for me. Your images make me think you thoroughly enjoy your photography, I am a little envious opportunities are somewhat limited here in North West England at present..

Hi Dan, in your face shot here. Great head on capture, good eye contact, and focus/DOF spot on where it counts. Another vote for a tad more room at the bottom.

Great POV and I love the striding pose.
Agree on a bit more room all around, especially the bottom.
IQ and sharpness of beak and face are excellent.

I also wish for a tad more room on bottom, but find myself also wishing for just a bit more DOF. Still sharp where it needs to be though and love the low POV.

More room below would be nice. Neat to see a shorebird on the grass.

I like the low angle, walking pose, foot detail and clean BG. I could see a little more room all around if you have it. Well done Dan.
