    Default Australian Osprey

Have taken out some sticks at the bottom of the frame ,My perennial enemy they are. i liked the sharpness and the colour inside those wings in that reasonably early light. And nearly 4 sets of claws

Good action shot I like it! I feel the leaves at the base are fine it gives the bird some sense of purpose as it were............ but not keen on the chopped off bird on the left, I think I would lose it.

Great techs on the main bird. Love the pose and those talons. I do find myself wishing for a bit of a different crop though loosing the cut off bird and I would also loose the vegetation at the bottom too.

Yes well the bird on left objected strongly to this one landing and rose up talons first so I left it in place but the side light didn't work on those subsequent frames will try another cut of the frame .Thanks for comments

Ian, the lighting looks like it was nice and the pose with the splayed wings is really cool.

Great sharpness and detail. While the shadows add drama it might have been helpful to have light a little more perpendicular to the subject.

Agree with losing the other bird and just a couple cloning remnants near bottom left.

Hi Ian, great detail and sharpness all round, and I like the show of the feather detail on both wings. Leaves are fine, but a portion of subject on the left does not really work. Still, well captured.

The incoming pose is great. I would loose the bird on the left and the leaves at the bottom.
