Hi Jon, a new gull pose for fishing. I like the far wing dipping in the water and no doubt the near wing went in too. I feel the image needs a tad CW rotation.

Now that is cool timing and a great pose. I thought you would have that new killer zoom lens by now... Is it available? Must be mucho dinero, as we say in south Florida... Good sign the line may continue. I really love the tones throughout this canvas. TFS

I like the behavior and action you captured in this image. Rotation already mentioned. Nice image Jon.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I agree more CW rotation, id did rotate but now you mention it more is required.
That new lens would be nice but it is about £6500 and not in good supply, I am a little hesitant to consider, quite frankly it is a lot of money to pay for a little more convenience after all I do have 40-150 (80-300 equiv) and a 300mm (600 equiv) and 1.4 and 2x TC. if I am being honest I would rather spend (much less!) money on a new camera with less noise but there is no mention of new sensors yet.

Hi Jon .... unusual pose of the gull , which I find quite nice . Nice colors , tones are looking bit flat .

From the technical aspect , I think it lacks critical sharpness and/ or the focus did not lock on the body/ face area as the water /front wing are looking sharper than the body . For sure very difficult to get this perfect .... more a hit and miss scenario .

Not sure on the pose here. It is something different though.
