    If you find fire flag in a wetland, a Purple Gallinule won't be far behind. These omnivores seem to always favor the seed/flower heads of the fire flag. Always fun to see them trying to reach the top of the stalks. This time the stalk was too flimsy and was bent down to get to the prize.

    I don't mind the setting it shows where the bird lives. The darker bird does stand out against all that light green.
