    another frame of the northern harrier, this is an adolescent bird, morphing into a full grown adult. the pupil is still dark but the plumage has strong definition. I thought about cloning out some of the stuff in the BG, but thought it doesn't look bad with habitat elements

    I like the pose. Nice light. The background elements work well. Gives a sense of the environment.

    Lovely light, colors, flight position, detail. The background elements contribute nicely to the overall image.

    Habitat it very nice, the best you can get for Harriers is low down...

    Supper image again, and yes the hint of habitat really adds a lot. I do wish the far wing was not so much in shadow, but still yet another frame I wish had my name tacked-on to it :-)
