    Hella sharp with great exposure and eye contact. Can't beat the surrounds either. My only issue is the glowing purple part on where the head meets the neck. I don't think you mess with color much (which s good), so I
    imagine that bit is representative of the original file. The only reason I point it out is thatI've never seen anything like it in my decades of birding. if you didn't boost the levels on it, it's one hellava cool catch!

    Beautiful duck! I'm so envious of the photo opportunities you have of ducks in North America. Every single species is a mission impossible here in Sweden.
    Great looking water and soft colors. I do wish the reflection was a little cleaner. Pose of the duck is spot on, details and exposure is very good. I too am curious about the purple as it is visible in the reflection near the eye as well. Seems unnatural.

    Whoa that ring is really visible. Im suprised it looks that nice in soft light like this. Nice framing and pose.
