This looks great. My backyard envy continues, thought I did have A BIRD - one bird - in the small tree outside out apartment yesterday. The curious head tilt is killer, and the exposure and detail
look great across the bird. This looks like 2x3, correct? I used to do all my verts in those proportions but have fallen for the 4x5 box crop in recent years. Curious if that would work here as you could
lose some of the empty space above and reallocate it to the left of the bird. Just an idea.....

The color palette is really beautiful

Perch, Bird, Background, and head turn all works in tandem to make this a really beautiful frame.

Krishna beat me to it: the color palette is what really makes this one for me. Along with perch, BG, pose and comp, of course. You've really cornered the market on these guys; I wish you would send one to my yard. I'm not sure the fine detail on this one is quite as sharp as some of the earlier ones, but could be my aging eyes and monitor.

Gail, add this to your fine consortium of EGB shots.

I love everything about the canvas including a very neutral, 'early winter' feel. Vertical works really well here and I think you processed nicely.

Incidentally, I actually relate to Bill regarding sharpness but I'd also be great with this as is in my collection.

The soft tones work very well here. Nice framing. All those little pine cones on here are nice as well.
