    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a monopod
    1/2500 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 720 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 400mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2021 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Cool shot. I like the colors.

    I envision another frame in which both skippers are parallel to the frame.

    Love it!! The skippers are not optimal but this is the sort of image I really like, the skippers are busy feeding displaying natural behaviour and the plant is really attractive, all shown to good effect by a subliminal background.
    Was this taken recently? What sort of climate is it at his time of year?

    The colors of the pickerelweed and skippers go great together. Nice call on the vertical framing.

    Very effective use of telephoto lens as a macro. Colors look great including the Pickerel weed and the skippers. vertical composition works well. Everything is tack sharp. Great background. All elements come together to make a great image!
