This is quite rare in the Eastern side of Aust., and the first I have ever seen .Very closely related to a' Variegated' version which has a black Breast and not quite the brilliant blues.
Hard to get these little ones out of the sticks where they keep safe . Burnt log is the sensible result of' cool burn'[controlled] in the Southern Hemisphere Autumn several years before. Some times it doesn't quite work out as we would like.

Hi Ian .... wow cool shot !!!
This Wren is such a nice bird with that blue /red feather combo .
Great timing to get him jumping , sadly the image has some technical shortcomings in terms of sharpness .
Pleasing BG and I am ok with the dominant log in front !
Ian, I think this is just a beautiful canvas. That goes for the composition, creamy bkg and I even find myself really liking the burnt perch.
The main feedback I'll offer is regarding critical sharpness. Not sure if it's movement at 1/1600 or partially due to crop. While it's a lovely capture, I think if you can eek a little more out without compromising IQ it might help.
Hi Ian. What a beauty! I've only photographed the Variegated wren (as well as the Red-backed and Superb wrens). Just checked my book "Complete Guide to Australian Birds, by George Adams (love this book) and the description/photos of the Blue-breasted breeding male show the crown as a deep blue with a lilac sheen (to my eye, almost a purple colour in the photo in the book), so just wondering whether the colouring is a little off here, as on my calibrated monitor it is mainly blue.
Aside from that, I'm fine with the sharpness, and I love how you've got it "levitated" from the perch. Great BG, pose as well. TFS
