Man, love the snow and darker environmental BG to show off this beauty. Shows environment and this beauty pops. Best of both worlds. Framing spot on as well IMHO. TFS

Fascinating frame Jonathon, everything seems about right to me . Have you thought about taking out the cross branches in the background perhaps.

I think this is a far better version compared to the previous posting Jon.

Because the subject is quite light, I'm wondering if having the BKG darker may help in the layering, ditto adding some Contrast to the plumage creating more definition???

Indeed Jon, but and here's the curved ball... would the greens be more 'blue/green' as it's snowing and here'm I'm guessing, rather than warmer?????

May be just darker and less saturation...

No nits from me...love everything about this image. I'm feeling cooler just looking at the snow...bit of a heat wave at the moment here in Brisbane.

Repost is excellent. The contrast really cracks! Falling snow is great, pose is different/interesting, and the detail is fantastic across the entire bird. Could only wish for a more direct stare, but this is really, really nice.
