I like the pose of the doe and the younger one in the background completes the scene. The colours look warm and I like them. I suspect you were a little lower this time and it does make the image more powerful I feel.

I like the manner in which you chose to compose this frame, even though the two subjects are not that close to each other there is still a visible emotional connection between them It is as if the young is waiting for a signal from its mother, who seems very alert, perhaps trying to assess if they should stay or dash for safety.
Good choice of techs and well exposed too, main subject sharp with good detail. This might seem as nitpicking, but I would like to mention the small contrasty/ darker area in the BG between the subjects which tends to draw my attention. Overall colours look good and no casts that I can see, interesting image and I enjoyed viewing, nice to see something different
