Default Budget Pacific Golden-Plover from 2014

I revisited this frame for another project and decided to post it here. It was captured during
my circa-US bike-birding adventure in 2014. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you
should definitely check this out: http://bikingforbirds.blogspot.com/

This species is a mostly-Siberian nester which occasionally wanders to the Western US on its
fall migration (which usually takes it to Eastern Asia and Hawaii). This is juvenile bird as
evidenced by the golden buff. In breeding plumage it'd look very similar to an American
Golden-Plover. I've seen 5-6 in California over the years.

Hi Dorian ..... a super clean image .
Does look nice overall with the super low POV and the lifted leg .Nice colors and the right framing .
Personally I might go a wee less heavy in the blacks/contrast department .....

The OOF areas can stand a bit of NR ....

I remember seeing this image before and that I loved it. Nothing different now!

It is such a beautiful bird and a stunning vibrant individual in perfect soft light, clean setting and nice composition. If I'm being very, very picky I wish the raised foot was separated from the other leg. I would also consider toning down the line from the small wave to create a more gradual transition. These are small nits that doesn't matter much but it is thoughts I would have if it was mine.
