    Default Duckweed.

    Attached Images Attached Images

A local urban pond this afternoon in shade light. The pond is completely filled with Duckweed which is not harmful
    and is natural.
When this Bufflehead female pops up, (or any other duck, there are a lot) she clears the Duckweed and I get fall reflection.
The Duckweed fills back in quickly.

This is so sweet. I've never seen anything like this before. The golden is just incredible. Detail and exposure are money. Would love a bit more profile view, but this shot is all about the surroundings. A very memorable shot, for sure. Detail

Yes, a very "individual" type shot. The Duckweed makes this image special. Would like a little more face on view to lighten its left eye. TFS

Very Nice Golden colors. Unique for sure.

    This works very well.

Maybe shooting a bit from the top will show us a different version with more golden colors...

Great example of seeing and planning a shot. Great contrast with the weeds and the reflected light. 10/10 from me!

Well done, Dan. A phenomenon I've never noticed before, making for a unique capture. Sure, a bit of profile would also make a great shot, but this is terrific.
