I was at Lake Morton in Lakeland, Florida sitting photographing ducks in front of me. This Common Gallinule climbed the bank about twelve feet away. I could only fit the head into the frame, with the teleconverter mounted too much lens. Not much for composition but a good test for the camera, lens and teleconverter. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

My favorite part of the image is the small drops of water on the bill - pretty neat. Those reds are appealing too. Too much lens can be a fun problem eh!
Beautiful look at that beak! Excellent exposure on the bright colors. Would want a bit more head turn towards us to get rid of that shadow on the forehead shield. Do love that blue BG.
