What a beauty with nice colors, perch, framing and SH. Would like more detail in darker shadows (like wing). Love the canvas and of course the subject. TFS

Bill, a very simple canvas. Don't know this bird personally but I find beauty in its colors.

I presume it was mid-day sometime? I enjoy the perch and some flora as you've shown it, but maybe a thing that could improve it would be more consistent, broadside lighting to expose those purples on the rump area a bit better.

Perhaps a touch more separation from the lower leaf too?

    Nice overall, tfs.

Very nice. I was happy to see some separation between the tail and the leaf. A bit more would not hurt. My favorite part of the image is are the views on the o-o-f leaf in the lower right quadrant.

    with love, artie

Very nice image overall, love the bird. The bottom leaves are a little distracting.

Good looking frame of this little bird, Bill. Eye contact is very nice. He's a bit low in the frame, but I do like the foliage at the top. I agree with Artie about the OOF pattern at bottom right. I could see warming the frame a tough as it feels a bit cool now.
