    Hi folks ....
have not posted a Bison for a longer time .
This image of the bull was taken in September 2018 , the trip was not very fruitful compared to the other two trips .
I saw the bisons only in 1 day out of 5 and only for an hour , but that's nature .

Do like the wind swept mane and beard in this image .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

I like your composition Andreeas, portait works verry well. Really like the head on look, the head angle and the windswept mane.

Well framed Andreas and POV is great. Dan is right, the windswept mane and long bears add so much to the image.

Techs looking good with just the right amount of DoF. Well exposed, nice colours and textures. I especially like those eyes and attentive pose.

Overall a well processed image well presented. Just curious, how close were you able to get to those chaps? Judging by the look on this one's face...he means business!

Stunning image Andreas, loved the wind swept coat and those excellent details in your subject. Brilliantly done.

    A very fine looking image.

Just that sky on top of the frame is a bit distracting .

    Superb stuff, TFS !

Very impressive Andreas, wonderful colours and details, I like the stance the the coat being blown about.
I am pretty good at getting colours wrong but looking at the horns is there a green/yellow cast there?

Thanks folks for your comments ... much appreciated .

Gabriela - the official recommended distance to them is a minimum of 50 meters .... safety distance to start running ... for the next climbable tree !!! Actually I had them as close as 10 meters without any issues .... just sitting still and let them do their business . Maybe moving slowly out of their way .... think the females with baby's are a bit more tricky , but also with them I had no bad experience .

Haseeb - i am ok with the sky . But I could close the gap in the OOF trees for more continuity in the BG .

Jon - a very local cast , resulting from rubbing their horns on trees and other natural resources . For me natural and no need to remove the " cast " .....

    Cheers Andreas

Nicely process Andreas, just too tight on the sides for me.
