    Hi folks,
Here is another frame from my trip to Tipeshwar. It was shot in landscape mode but the gaze was so intense I went for vertical framing. Paws were cut off in landscape mode so this is my take on composing it. I liked it. Hope you too.

Hi Sanjeev, again nothing to do with the techs, but for me the IQ is just lacking slightly and it's not quite pin sharp. I agree that with clipped paws going tighter is the better option, but personally i would go tighter and so having the 1.4 at tho distance may have helped?

I appreciate it's always easier to comment away from the scene, but either to have the 5D4 with the 100-400 for the closer shots and the 500 with the 1.4 where you can do either the longer shots with or without the 1.4. Colourwise I might go a little darker with the orange it all blends in to one another. Love the stare!

A very striking image, I like the stance and direct eye contact. The eyes don' t appear to be quite so well focused as the nose and I feel there is a slight yellow colouration to the image. When the image is made to fit screen the focusing issues become less apparent.

Love the POV and the direct stare makes this image for me. In terms of comp I would crop from the bottom and go square here, with the subject right in the middle of the frame.

Regarding sharpness I don't know Sanjeev, it's almost there... but not quite. Maybe you shot without support or subject got too close?

This tiger is so beautiful, I do hope you have lots more from this sighting

Beautiful frame coming right at you. Love the pleasing background greens. The yellows don't bother me that much. I do think the cats colors need to pop just a little more. Me personally I like some saturation.TFS

Gotta love that in your face direct eye contact here Sanjeev, even though a 1:1 square crop isn't my preferred ratio for nature photography, I think it might work in this case cropping to the chest line.

I feel the image is a tad flat and could benefit from a mid tone curves boost, also a slight increase in sharpness on the face would also suit, all easy fixes. Very nice work Sanjeev.

Hi Sanjeev ... lovely " in your face " image .
Very nice head on shot ... but sadly lacking quality IMHO .
Color and tones , matter of taste .... I personally would go for a bit more Oomph in the subject .

Hi Doc -- Lacks quality once again but loved in your face crop. Very fine looking Tiger specimen.

I see some blue cropping in tigers black stripes on its back.

    Nice one, TFS !

That stare is great. The nose looks a hair sharper that the eyes. Image quality looks great for the ISO.
