    Love the light to shadows and spotlight effect of the dark surroundings in this one. Beautiful details and perfect HA for me. Also love the framing. TFS

    Dan: Very dramatic, great display of the trademark bill. I could see trying to tease just a bit more detail out of the blacks on the rump.

    Agree with the rotation.
    Nice spot light effect, I with this was male rather than female.
    Black background works well for the image.

    The Rotation is correct.
    Krishna, wishing it was a male and not a female is not a critique, it is ridiculous....

    I understand what I meant was that I would prefer to photograph male shovelers than female

    Excellent frame with the dark BG and the spot light effect. I'd try to recover a bit more texture from the darkest feathers but overall a good looking frame.
