    Default Hello Spoons

Shot of captive spoonie taken with my P&S Lumix on a monopod.

    Animal Kingdom, Orlando.

I came in close to avoid the tags on the legs. I was surprised at the quality of the Lumix. I'm sure the monopod helped. the grainy background gave it a artsy look. No post processing except sharpening and noise reduction

    Camera: Panasonic DMC-FZ8
    Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
    Aperture: f/3.3
    Focal Length: 72 mm
    ISO Speed: 800
    Exposure Bias: -33/50 EV

Hi Mike Trying to figure this one out

Those little point and shoots sure are noise machines It does give the image an interesting effect ... but after further review I'm not understanding this one? Your aim here was making a sharp image and it is !!!

The bird was sharp which was my goal, but the background came out real dirty somehow. But with the noise reduction it gave it a painterly effect.

Doesn't work for me, far too much chroma noise IMO.

    Cheers
