    I hope the angle doesn't render this image useless. It is so rare to see them anywhere other than on ugly highway lamposts. Taken with the 40D, 100-400 @ 400 ISO 400 av +1 1/3, eval, 1/200 at f7.1 Thanks for looking.

    I like the composition and I have to agree with you as the angle is not ideal but still works. Did you remove anything from this image??

    A little steep, but nice to get him calling. I'd lighten the eye a little bit. Good looking bird, Carole.

    Nice calling pose - Good looking bird
    Something funny happening with the branch at the end ot thr RHS.
    Agree with the a little steep.

    I like the pose and light and agree on the angle. You could sharpen the bird a bit more.

    Angle is a bit steep, but as you said, it's always nice to get the raptors on a natural perch. Another pass of sharpening could help. There appears to be some clone work on the right side of the image. Thanks for posting!
