    EOS R RF 100-500 @500 f7.1 1/200 ISO 1600 HH, Manual Exp

    Was out at local wetlands chasing warblers again when this beauty landed in my face. Given inputs from last post, exposed brighter in camera and pointed above near wing but got a little of the far wing in smallest single point focus box. Same as before focus box on thorax and head. Twig is still cut but smaller than previous as well. Thanks for all great feedback on previous post. Bring it on again, please.

    Nice pose,perch and the background. If the dragonfly was more parallel to you the body would be much more in focus.

    David, this looks a lot better than the previous one with less dominant perch. I like the diagonal perch and the sharp face. It would look much better if the body were in focus, but easier said than done.
