Hi folks ... another one from Nxai Pan .
Maybe again an image with mixed feelings when looking at it ....
I am not sure if the bull on LHS must have been bigger ?? Does not matter ... as I cannot change it afterwards .

Another hot one. The elephant on the right has a nice pose. I like the head on view. Not so sure the one on the left adds anything to this frame.

Hi Andreas -- Nice low Pov and again handling of light is superb on your part.

IQ looks good enough inspite of that heat haze and harsh lighting. Tones are in sync with the time of the day ,so all those areas are nicely managed by you.

Framing is what i am undecided on, and not sure what to make of it. It definitely appears that there is some sort of interaction between the two elephants but placement of the oof ele is a bit bothersome.

Lets see what others have to say.

    TFS !

    Hello Andreas,

For me it is the 'dialogue' between the eles that makes this image, so well captured and very good timing!

I am ok with framing but maybe you are right, had the ele on the LHS been 'bigger' you might have made a stronger point. Nevertheless I think you told the story quite well and the viewers get the idea anyway.

Looks like there's another ele in the picture just behind the chap coming to drink, all one can see is a small tusk sticking out, must be a younger fellow

Thank you so much for sharing and have a great rest of the week,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi, the in-coming Ele seems to be in a rush to get to the waterhole for a drink so as to not allow the other elephant to finish the water in the puddle! The ambience, the IQ and the techs all look great. The framing well I am 50, 50. I wish the OOF ele was not so tightly framed.

Thanks folks for your honest feedback ... i exactly expected your reservations .
With hindsight i wish i had shot a bit wider for the elephant on LHS .... still like the concept and the conversation between the two .

Gabriela - i forgot to remove the tusk

    Cheers Andreas
