I was thrilled to find 2 Hudsonians feeding frantically on the flats today, as they move to their wintering grounds. So focused were they on foraging, that they paid absolutely no attention to me. Both birds came to within MFD several times. What a great problem
to have! I took hundreds of images and am still going through them.

    Gail:

Great POV, raised foot with tiny drip, exposure, layered background with color harmony, Sharpness.

    Look forward to more.

Godly image of the Godwit Gail ! Love the serene look here as if its walking on water. Love the low POV, pose and ripples.

Looks great all around. I like the raised foot and that blue water. Don't you just love making full frame images or almost full frame images.

I like colors and the raised leg. Beautiful water colors.

Just a beauty Gail. Wow yes, love this one.

As mentioned, the pose and head angle are super. Nailed the dof plane and the horizon line landed in a great spot.

    All around wonderful for me!

Beautiful! My type of shorebird image! The raised foot adds so much. A bit of "posterization" lines across the back, but I get those too at times and I know they are not there on the masterfile. Since they came so close I hope you got some cool close-up portraits too!

Thats a beauty Gail...Lovely pose, POV and detail on the bird...Fab colours throughout...I don't care about posterisation now...as long as it ain't too bad, you know the master file will be good. It actually looks nice in this frame on the iMac.

What a thrill to get such a close encounter with these lovely birds. Ditto all the positives above. No nits, just kudos.
