    Kevin:

I really like the colors here, between the bird, background, softness. Raised foot a plus. Because of the soft theme, I would def. reduce the opacity of your watermark, very distracting, esp. with such a small subject.

This image lends itself to a variety of possible crops if you were so inclined. Trimming some off the top for a slightly more pano look is an option.

While I love the raised foot and the pastel tones(and the bird!) this one has several problems for me:

1- the bird is turned away from us.
2- the eye does not look crisp at all.
3-the bird is too centered (and very small iii the frame).

Agree with Randy on the signature and the likelihood of a better crop.

    with love, arite

Beautiful pastel scene; it looks like paining! The foot is a nice touch, but I echo Artie's comments, especially with respect to the crop. The bird feels a bit lost as is. I find that processing blacks in super soft light is also a challenge. You have to life them so much to get detail that they often loo washed out.

Kevin, such a pretty canvas. So many positives - killer rainbow colored bkg, silky water, foot stretch. A great candidate for small in frame.

Remarks regarding subject position and blacks are valid IMO. I know it was foggy but I wonder what running some dehaze on the subject would do.

I really like this kind of image. Agree Head Angle needs be perfect for this one to work.

Image design is borderline good in my opinion.

Painterly feel to the image which works.

Now the same image with the bird on lower-left corner will be stronger.
