This gorgeous plant in our conservatory comes into flower October/November , the flower is fascinating. It is possible to see the bud and anticipate when the flower begins to burst. When it does it is gradually and over the next weeks more elements in the flower unfurl.

Needs a bit more BKG either side, too cramped I feel Jon, maybe pullout some more of that lovely detail in the orange leaves, very striking, I like it a lot!!!

Love the low key here and the beautiful flower. Wish for more room all around.

Agree with both comments about space all around. The dark background brings up the striking colors and keeps attention on the radially unfurled petals. Beautiful flowers.

I agree more space all around.

    The background makes this interesting.

I have this Strelizia in my garden, Jon And I think the colours are spot-on! Love the dark BG, agree on more space around... but I must say this is stunning - lovely work

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
