Hi folks ... not the greatest image on planet earth !!!
But I like the simple things in this one ....
Showing nicely the harsh environment of the Nxai Pan in the dry season .... just one waterhole was open and usable for the animals and they came mainly in the hottest time of the day , to quench their thirst .
I was able to shoot from low angle .... .....

I like the pale sky here and also heat haze, which is still noticeable to some extent even after some NR. IMO it all comes together so nicely to create a sense of mood, or atmosphere, at the time.
Nice pose from the antelope, he looks almost 'frozen', patiently waiting his turn to drink and maybe making sure there are no predators around.
There is no doubt in my mind that the colours are a true reflection of what you have witnessed, nice PP work. Good techs and composition is spot-on, with enough space around the subject. POV is superb.
So no nits from me and I really think you've done a very good job of portraying the scene. The only thing that bothers me is the tiny brown speckle at the bottom of the frame - sorry Andreas it's really nitpicking and maybe I should not mention it, but it catches my eye.
I like the picture Andreas, the impala has an alert pose, the BG makes it pop out nicely. The low POV and the pricked up ears are great. The light was harsh, but it shows the tough conditions in which it lives.
