    I like the BG color a lot and the prey is very nice. I might just darken the perch a tad. I agree
    it has to stay for the image to work.

    Gotta love that action, especially with the mouse! Exposure, details, and BG are all spot on. As Dan said, OOF perch is needed for the story; otherwise the lack of eye contact matters. As is, he's totally intent on the perch, as he needs to be.

    Love the BG!
    Great pose and even better because of the prey in his talons.
    I would take a bit off the right.Feels like a bit too much empty space.
    I would also clone out the horizontal white line that is between the 2 OOF yellow stems.
