Boy You always have such beautiful light and water colors. I think the details look good and sharp composition is fine bird just looks overexposed or you shot in some hard light. Some of the whites look just too hot. Great Ha. TFS

Interesting observation. I checked the whites to make sure they are do not go over 240.
Only difference if that I used medium light level while processing this image as opposed to regular way of using low light level.

I will let others comment on the same as well

    Thanks

    Hey Krishna, shorebird master....

Stunning palette as usual. Sharpness is spot on. I know you like your whites a touch brighter which works well on your frames.

But for me, I tend to agree that it's a touch bright and/or a tad thin. Maybe look at reducing brightness on the subject (lum) just a little or you could maybe use a TK mask or levels to enrich the midtones a bit.

I like the pose and the overall color palate. The whites in areas might be pushing the edge a bit, but they don't look clipped.

Krishna, the darker areas are spot on, your best yet, if the neck feathers are not blown then they can be coaxed to show more detail, if you are keen on the Nik then perhaps lower the highlights there, I think this is a beauty certainly worth having another look see.

Really nice, Krishna. Eye contact compensates for the static subject, and the water lends a really artistic beauty. I love the composition. I might drop the highlight on the head a touch and bump te black a few points. But all that's pretty minor....
