It looks as if the birds tend to get a phone. :) Nice eye contact, I would apply some NR on the BG. Enjoy your new lens!

    Hi Anita,

I like the composition to this image. I would remove the noise in the BG.

Outside of the noise.....which is easy to remove.....everything looks good. I always like the images with birds and signs......the first thing I thought of was....ST phone home.

LOL, Lana, maybe I need to rename it - SF phone home? Thanks for stopping.

Congrats on the new lens Anita! Looks like you're getting the hang of it. In my workflow, I always run NR on the BG no matter what ISO I shoot. The Mark III does a great job with noise, but it's still visible. And people on BPN notice it!

Thanks, Doug and Gus, appreciate your stopping. You're probably right about routine nr on backgrounds, Doug. On this, I think I was so focussed on other parts of the image that I just glanced at the bg (& my monitor doesn't seem to show as many details like that as some do, so it didn't jump out at me.) Looking more closely, I see it.

A real beauty Anita! Congratulations on your new camera and lens. They ought to do the job for you for years to come. I wish I had a Mk III.
