RWBB at Green Cay. I cropped out the man made element to get a profile shot.

is the space on the left too much or should I go in tighter?

I don't mind the negative space for some uses like text, Would probably make it smaller for web presentation. Good detail in most of the blacks. Young bird I believe :)

Wish for a little head turn your way.

Love the bird and the background. Crops could vary depending on usage. You are, however, in danger of being arrested by the head-angle police...

I also wish for a bit more head turn and the empty space does not work for me. I think as is I would make it a vertical crop, unless you have entire bird in an uncropped version. Thanx for sharing.

The cropping suggestions are good and you know about the head turn. With that.....I love that green BG and the detail that you got in the bird.
