    Hi Shellie!

This is a real cute image!! You can get in trouble for not putting a cuteness alert up on something like this! :D

Good composition, techs look good, nice low perspective adds lots to the image. May have needed a little more flash but perhaps I am being picky. I do think it could use a little unsharp mask because since you resized it down you loose a little sharpness from that (you basically throw out some pixels).

This is a nice intimate portrait of a cute little guy. Good job!!!

hi shellie. what a wonderful capture!! i can see two things i might would do different. first would be to include the virtual feet on the bottom of the frame. and if you did that, i think you would need to add a little canvas on the right. the second thing would be to brighten the bird just a bit.

overall, great job!! i really like this!!

Over all a lovely image. I wish there was a catch light in the eye and it is a bit tight, minor nits, it is very nice.

One of my favorite subjects - aren't they just adorable? I agree with Harold that you need a little more room at the bottom for the "virtual feet" and maybe a little more soft lighting across the front of the bird would be nice. All in all, it's such a cute image! You really hit the emotion factor with this one.

Thanks guys! I think it is a majority that a little room needs to be added at the bottom for the "virtual feet"......but remember I am new to this LOL...I dont know how to do this. I have CS3.

Shellie, basically you just need to remember that when you are composing your image in camera. Leave a little extra room at the bottom if the bird is in water or grass so that it doesn't look like you're cutting him off at the kneecaps!:D

Gotcha! Yeah I have learned to be more careful of that! I thought you were referring to adding to the bottom of the pic PP!!!! I was thinking wow, that is going to be a lot of work! My mistake!!!
