    I like the warm evening light and the tones in the coat, you have certainly addressed some of the reservations expressed in previous posts. Good details in the whites and also in the nose, DOF looks pretty much spot on and I like the rich coloured background. The highlights in the eye and the tongue provide added interest. I like the composition but could also appreciate a slice off the RHS.

    What gorgeous light, John!

    Lovely work in the field! Nice techs, good choice of DoF. Beautiful colours and tonality, sharpness is there and some fine detail on the subject. Nice PP work, IQ looks great.

    Forgive me for nitpicking, for I really like this image - all I would do here is perhaps soften those dark patches in the background, for a more 'even' look, a mere suggestion of course and entirely up to you.

    I really enjoyed this, what a pleasure to view. Keep them coming please
