Super shot Sanjeeve I remember these birds very well indeed, they were pretty much in all locations - beautiful. I have attached another for your consideration - just minor tweaks WDYT??
I shall go back to my files, i don't think I have any as good as yours but it will be good to have a look see.

Yes, that perch needed post-cleaning. Neat bird. Good BG, but needs some NR. You may have a "burnt pixel" as the red dot above the subject's head has appeared in most of your recent images....

Love the BG, the bird and the IQ of the file.
Would clone out that red dot 1 inch above the head.
The big problem for me is the size of the OOF branch and the whitewash on it.

Good looking bird. Lovely green background. (I do see a bit of posterization, which is tough to avoid when working with dark green backgrounds.) Repost is an improvement, not only for the cleaning of the perch, but it appears to have added a touch of black. Even with the cleaning, the perch is less than ideal, but I appreciate getting a look at this lovely bird.

PS. I think it was Joe, some years ago, that offered a suggestion for dealing with posterization in PS: Surface Blur, 2 rounds, with radius at 2px, threshold at 4; then Add Noise at 0.4%. I found it helped, sometimes.

Hi Sanjeev, cracking subject and look at all that gorgeous detail you captured. If you want to add more richness to the bird for a more 'faithful' appearance easy, just kept it simple.

Just a simple backing off and bingo... I can't do it all based on the OP, but... WDYT?

Very nice colors. I wish to see these birds when I come home in India for my next year's trip.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Much appreciated. Thank you Jon and Steve for the RP. Bill I will look at the surface blur option you suggested to avoid posterization.

Sanjeev I think you just pushed things a bit too much, plus there is a lot of colour noise. Pop the file over if you want.

That’s absolutely fine Sanjeev, see if there are some pointers I can perhaps pass on and move it up a gear to where it needs to go as I feel the original capture has it all, just needs a little bit of ‘gofer’ dust sprinkled. Will drop you a line after.
