    I love the pen mouth and the tail flare. Perfectly centered catchlight.
    Nice and sharp.
    The bird looks pretty good for a big crop but the BG sky seems to have a mottled look to it. Some smudges about 1 inch to the left of birds' right wing,

    Hi Jon,
    Very nice capture, love the open mouth and wings. Still impressive despite being a large crop.

    Nice capture Jonathan love that open mouth.And as mentioned the tail flare is nice. I do see what Gail is saying about the background,blues have something going on. TFS Thanks for your comments yesterday.

    Whoops - the smudge - I am sorry I should have mentioned I removed a heavyweight electric cable - that was careless cloning/content aware on my behalf.

    I like the open beak and wing position, large crop shows in IQ but for me the main issue is the harsh shadows, sky can use NR looks very noisy.
