A correction to the title as I was referring to JJ Audubons name for this heron species "Lady of the Waters" not "Lady of the Glades" which is the title reserved for Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, a now gone tireless advocate for everglades conservation. This was from a slightly different angle as I approached and I warmed it a tad compared to previous post to better match actual light (late afternoon).

sooooo much better David, well done. I immediately noticed the magenta cast is not present and for me it makes all the difference. I do like the HA and you have a very dramatic portrait of a very lovely lady here.

Handsome portrait, with perfect HA. She really pops against the dark BG.

Much much better now that the magenta/purple cast has been evicted.
