    Late unblocked sun as this beauty looked up from preening shoulder. This is the recently fledged and acclimated to my presence young limpkin.

    Nice shot David and great light. Love the colors and composition and the ruffled feathers tell the story of preening with the hint of a small feather in the bill. TFS
