    Thought I like the background colors. I feel the bird is a bit bright. I would selectively burn the bright areas.

    Love the water and I like the slightly brighter bird as it pops more off that water. TFS

    Nice water indeed! Very autumn feel. I agree the grebe itself seems a touch bright. Very subtle head turn is good, and I like that there is a bit of leg sticking out of the water.

    agree the grebe is too bright but I like all else.

    That water is pretty sweet and makes the frame for me. Bird is a bit bright as others have mentioned. He could use a bit more room behind as well.

    I think lowering the exposure slightly on the whole image would make it better....Worth doing.

    Simply gorgeous lines of color in the water. Ditto other comments above: tone down the brightness on the grebe, and maybe a little more room behind. Beauty of a shot, with a few tweaks.

    Yes to lowering the exposure. The water is nice though.
