    Default Northern Mockingbird on Mulberry Tree

    At Ft. Desoto in Pinellas County, Florida there are a few Mulberry Trees. When in fruit in the spring these trees attract birds that gorge on the berries. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VR AF-S ED HH
    1/1250 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 400 Auto WB, image captured at 300mm
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction when needed
    Cropped for composition and presenatation

    Hi Joe, not your usual IQ, something went wrong here, not sharp anywhere on the mockingbird...

    Hi Joe, looks like the FP locked onto the leaves behind, it's not a keeper as the subject is soft.

    Hi Steve, thanks for viewing and commenting. Looking further into the image the date of captured was in 2014 at the beginning of my bird photography. I was not paying attention to fine tuning the autofocus to correct front or back focusing then. The focus point was on the head of the bird but obviously not focusing correctly. Thanks again for chiming in...

    Perch and expression are great, but I echo the comments about focus. Looking back at my stuff when I started 8 years ago, I can't believe what I kept then versus what I keep now!
