hi Paul, you are having fun, fun, fun with your kit! Good looks at the duck but it being so large in the frame against the busy BG doesn't much appeal to me, good shootin!

Hi Ann. No problem...different strokes as they say. I'm actually happy with this one as it's pretty much full frame...no crop, so getting it close in the viewfinder without clipping the wings was my task that morning. Not much I can do about the BG I guess. Cheers.

I like the duck, a bit too large but not a big deal, I do find the BG quite distracting though

I love the frame filling pose, wonderful details and the colors in the water. Such a clear view would pop off any BG IMHO. TFS

Really love the wing and tail...

I like the dynamic and fun incoming pose. Focus seems to be on the front leg - I'm sure that an additional round of sharpening on the face are would be good for web presentation.

Great lighting, action, and expression! Goofy feet are fun too! Agree the head could use a bit more sharpening. The water might be a bit much fo those of us who are obsessed with super smooth background, but
it's more personal preference than anything else. Bird is tight but it sounds like you can't shift it.

Thank you David, Daniel & Dorian...feedback much appreciated as always.
Dorian: I guess I could add canvas to the sides in PS...might try that...content aware scale in PS also works well in some situations.

Neat looking duck. I like the patterns in the water.
