    Fledgling Spotted Sandpiper. Captured with a shoulder stock mounted Nikon D200, 80-400mm VR at 400mm, 1/1600sec, f8, ISO 400, manual exp, fill flash with Nikon SB800 -2.0, high speed sync mode. PP with CS3.

    Very cute little guy. I like the raised wings and walking pose. You could put him a bit further to the right in the frame. BTW, I find the white drop shadow in your signature a bit distracting.

    Adorable little critter, you really got him early. Good deetail and sharpness, great EXP too. I see a lower angle would have been very wet :) but it would have gotten rid of the messy BG. Agree with Axel's comments.

    Really nice sharp image, your exposure is right on as well. Agree it could use a little trim off the right to move the bird over a little.

    Agree with all of the oabove. Love the vulnerable look of this capture Dan. Your timing was lerfect with excellent detail. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice capture - lower angle would have been nice - but very wet by the looks. :)
