    Common Merganser.
    Taken today, we are still severely limited in access in our local areas so this is the lowest angle I can get
    with the restricted access.
    Mergansers are not common this time of year..a good sign for the season.
    D500, 700mm (500pf w/1,4), f8, 1/1000, iso1600.

    Lovely spotlit Merg against the dark water. The POV worked well for the reflection. Hope they show up around here; some years are better than others at our local lake. They are usually in breeding plumage by the time they get here.

    Sweet with the dark water and those green "brushstrokes". Image does need some CCW rotation, but all else is good.
