    The light is nice. I like how the bird is gripping the top of the perch like that. Framing is right on.

    These have just started returning to the Bay Area, and I've seen several in fields like this in the last week. Crop is very nice, but I don't think the sharpness is there, the left foot being the most detailed bit. Perch is what it is; these birds rarely assume anything truly photogenic!

    Jay, we're blessed with two Says Phoebes nests under our deck so get to enjoy them spring to fall.

    Very earthy background and warm light are nice.

    Sharpness isn't as big a factor for me, however there seems to be a sort of green color cast.

    Don't normally do this, but took a swing at a couple minor adjustments just so we could see an alternate.
