Default Blue Grosbeak: Foggy Morning Meadow

Here's another oldie, from High Island, TX in 2014. A grab shot of a Blue Grosbeak suddenly coming at me out of the morning fog. Not everybody's cup of tea, but something about it appealed to me so I hung onto it for all these years, and reprocessed it for the Theme.

It's something different for sure. I like the setting. The green and blue goes great together. The pose is pretty neat.

Certainly not a species I've ever seen photographed in flight before, so great job on that. Fog is what it is; these are the mornings I end up focusing on birding!

Bill, very cool scene. As you probably know, I have an affinity for BGs.

Looks like maybe you are fighting some noise/graininess due to the fog. I guess it's worth bringing up, fog itself ought not be mistaken for noise, correct? I wonder what a little dehaze on the subject would do as well as a light round of DNAI?

A fun one to critique for sure.

Like the Framing. Something different for sure. It is a keeper to infield refinement.

    I like the wing position.
