On oldie, from 2014 in Cape May that I don't believe I've posted previously. This hen had been swimming around in a foamy patch of duckweed along the edge of the pond, before swimming out into the colorful fall background reflection.

Yeah, the colors here are so cool, the green stuff clinging to her in particular. Flash looks to have revealed detail the low sun would have missed, so that's good. Bird does look a bit steely compared to natural light (grayer than brown), so it might be worth playing with the WB a bit. I'd also rotate the image CCW a bit to level her.

Bill, you were able to take a fairly simple waterfowl species and produce a fun, colorful frame. Kudos on that!

I love the multi-color striations in the bkg and neat how they flow into the water reflections seamlessly. The moss is a bit messy but adds interest IMO.

Cool choice on the framing, looks 16x9? I like it. In agreement with Dorian's comments.

She's a beauty, Bill. Great complimentary fall colors.

The pattern/color in the water is pretty sweet. Framing is right on. Detail on the duck looks good as well.
