Apparently I wasn't getting the memo.

It was a fun summer with this spectacular species - Lazuli Bunting.

Gorgeous bird. Love the colors. Nice calling pose and the mullein perch is nice. Like the feet gripping that perch. Killer background.

Pretty much perfect IMHO. The details, the colors, the perch and the BG all spot on. TFS

Another nice frame, Brian. View of face is so dead on took me a while to figure out he was singing.... kept thinking what's wrong with his beak! Love the colors. TFS.

This is really nice. I've wanted to get this bird for a while, but we don't have sweet perches like this out here, mostly just big scrubby bushes which overpower the bird. Composition and color look great. That we can see both eyes is sweet. Perch looks to be leaning ever-slightly left of vertical, so you might be able to rotate it a touch CW. But super minor.

I appreciate your feedback guys. Thanks for taking the chime, your comments are valuable!

Jay - ha it is a little perplexing at first, I can see that

Dorian - I am hopeful you get to encounter this species; for sure one of my faves. Whatever you can catch it on I'm sure it will be nice. PS - comment received on rotation, thx!
