    Super detail Lance. That eye ring is awesome. Looks just a little dark to me. I'd also think about cropping from the top and maybe just a hint from the bottom also.

    Agree with the crop suggestion Will give a much better ration !!!

    I like the pose and setting. Would back saturation on the reds just a tad, remember what the camera doses to those tones. Would like to see a little more contrast on the feathers and some work around the eye. Lighter would look better and really pop !! Love the low angle. One of your best Lance I really like this a lot !!! Big Congrats !!!

    awesome perspective, lance!!! do agree the eye could use some brightening. that bird looks a lot like our killdeer.

    Sweet bird and wonderful perspective,it pays to get low down and dirty! Another suggestionwould have beena kiss of fill flash to add a little brightness and a catch light.

    A sweet image though Lance congrats!!
