Took this image in Clark's Harbour in Southern Nova Scotia at a beach called The Hawk.
The BG is kelp draping over large boulders.
I love that long leggy stride.

Gail, a winner here. Beautifully processed in the whites, deep enough in the mids (couldn't hurt to add a touch more if you wanted) and a fantastic job filling the frame.

Love the composition. The striations are every so slightly distracting but the bkg colors tie into the yellow legs so well it's a non-issue for me.

    Very nicely done!

love the walking pose on the white sand! If mine I'd lower the highlights just a tiny bit and warm up the colors a tad

Nice walking post. I will clone out the branch on Left side near the beak.

Thank you all for your great eyes and suggestions. I think the repost looks much better. It definitely needed a mid-tone adjustment which I did not see until Brian mentioned it. I burned the yellow curved line closest to the beak and warmed image up slightly.

Great striding pose, and I love the painterly background. Repost is an improvement to a great shot.
