    I saw this backlit insect and snapped a few images, Right after the last image, it jumped onto the grass blade to the left and hid behind it. I don't know what insect it is.
    Canon 7DII + 180/3.5 + tripod
    f/13, 1/80, ISO 640
    ACR for RAW and PSCC, a slight crop.

    Im not sure on the ID. I like the framing and the diaganol perch. I'm torn on removing the grass stem on the left. I know it was part of what the insect is on. Killer background.

    I like the details colours and processing, it looks very natural, the head is angled slightly away so i can't see the head properly but my guess it is a bug, it appears to have a long piercing head part..
    I appreciate I may be inconsistent in some of my comments regarding cloning/cropping elements out of an image but in this case I do not feel that the grass stem on the LHS is adding anything to the image. Possibly a vertical image is worth a try?
