The most endangered bird that is endemic to Florida, the Florida Scrub Jay suffers from loss of habitat as 1000 people a week move to Florida. A few areas of the scrub habitat that this bird needs has been set aside, the largest being in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. This image was captured at Helen and Alan Cruickshank Sanctuary in Rockledge, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.
